Hello I'm Miquette and Strawberry Anarchy is the strange little world I should live in. I just turned 30 and I am a proud mummy :) I hope you like my work... below you can read more about what I make and why.
Cutie Pot Heads:
These are my newest creation, they are magical plants grown from magical beans! I have always imagined weird and wonderful creatures and characters in my brain and my first love was polymer clay so I decided to pick it up again when I drew Cutie Pot Heads in my sketch book and imagined them being in 3d, I am having so much fun meeting each and every one and look forward to sharing lots of my other weird and wonderful creatures.
Jewellery and Art:
I've always loved making stuff ever since I was small and I try to have an essence of childhood captured in most my jewellery. I love to use bright colours, old toys, trinkets and cute objects and make my designs bring happiness to those who wear them and people around them and I love all things miniature. However there is a darker side to my personality that I like to express occasionally too, it can't be rainbows and cupcakes all the time!
Glass Vials:
I love the thought of capturing small items and preserving them and showing them off. When I was a young girl my sister took me to a shopping centre where a woman was writing names on a piece of rice. My sister bought me one of the necklaces. I loved the necklace dearly and wore it until the string eventually wore down and fell off. When I found these tiny vials I was so happy I could make myself one. I wanted to do it in my own way, not with rice but with my own handmade items and unique ideas.
I am a fan of graffiti, graphic design, animation and making films.
I've done some acting in a handful of short films, I like playing guitar and drums and most of all I love to dance (strangely).
I've also travelled around a little, working in Europe and visited America and my favourite place is Morocco.
